Class rules calculations & CE Certification
To ensure safety of operation and insurance requirements, all floating vessels are designed to comply with different sets of rules and standards. In case of small craft and yachts, most of them are designed and built to comply with different classification society rules and/or ISO standards.
Although in practice often overlooked, our integrated design process gives strong accent on this point. Designing the boat from very start with rules requirements in mind, all our clients enjoy luxury of fluid and stress-free design process, particularly in later stages when certification comes in. In general, certification documentation we provide is sufficient set of information for every experienced boat builder to build the vessel without any additional input.
TP Yacht Design offers services of class documentation preparation according to different sets of rules, but most commonly for CE certification (ISO standards). Documentation includes both calculation reports and corresponding drawings. List of most common ISO standards we prepare for projects please find attached at the end of this document.
